Breathtaking Design of Roolen’s Breath Vaporizes Traditional Humidifiers
Cold season is upon us, and it’s time to break out the room humidifier to help alleviate the dry winter air that can make sniffles and sore throats worse. For design conscious households, traditional humidifiers are an eye sore, but the new Breath humidifier by Roolen is not only technologically advanced but good looking enough to sit out in the open.
The smart ultrasonic Breath humidifier features sleek styling in jet black or ivory white housing in a compact, discreet tapered silo shape, designed to resemble fine porcelain, so that it blends with modern décor. It features a large water reservoir, which works best with distilled water, can humidify a room up to 400 square feet, and has a quiet operation, ideal for use while sleeping.
The beauty of the product expands to its function, as it automatically detects the humidity level in a room and adjusts itself to provide the ideal humidity balance of 40 to 55 percent. The unit can also be set to low and high settings and features indicator lights for standby and to alert you when the reservoir is out of water. When the water level is too low for operation, the motor automatically cuts off.
The same technology that allows the Breath to auto adjust to humidity conditions also increases efficiency and achieves maximum comfort for a longer time by producing smaller water molecules and consuming less energy and water than traditional models. The unit employs Japanese ceramic ultrasonic transducers to produce heat, but unlike traditional transducers powered by transistors, the high-tech system in Breath generates a stable, reliable and continuous heat source without overheating.
Besides for relieving cold symptoms, a humidifier can be used to add moisture in the air to protect fine wood furnishings to prevent them from drying out and cracking. Even wood floors can benefit and will creak less when a room has more humidity.
Breath is available for $129 at Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond and QVC.
